Data replicatie & Hoge beschikbaarheid (HA)' bewerken net Open-e DSS v6 Storage OS
Replication Solutions Supported by Open-E DSS
- Open-E DSS supports three different types of file based Data Replication
- 2.1 Asynchronous Data Replication (file based) within the system
- 2.2 Asynchronous Data Replication (file based) over a LAN
- 2.3 Asynchronous Data Replication (file based) over a WAN
- Additionally, DSS Supports three types of block based Volume Replication
- 3.1 Synchronous Volume Replication (block based) over a LAN for NAS, iSCSI and Fiber Channel appliances,
- 3.2 Synchronous Volume Replication (block based) over a WAN for NAS, iSCSI and Fiber Channel appliances,
- 3.3 Synchronous Volume Replication (block based) with Failover over a LAN for iSCSI appliances and NAS (NFS) appliances.
Example:

Hardware Requirements:
To run the data replication of Open-E DSS V6, a minimum of two systems is required. Logical volumes working in slave mode must have snapshots created and enabled. Both servers are working in the Local Area Network. An example configuration is shown below.
